Walking · in the guide’s order

Hand the stops to a map, without losing the middle

ZouQi does not draw the route itself. Amap receives GCJ-02 coordinates and Baidu Maps receives BD-09. The article’s themes are described on the Beijing page.

One stop or the whole list

  • One geocoded place: Apple Maps, Amap, or Baidu Maps, walking.
  • Two or more: Amap or Baidu Maps only. Your current location is the start, the guide’s order is preserved, and the last place is the destination.
  • A missing map app falls back to the web only for a single place.

Questions

Why can’t the full route open in Apple Maps?

With more than one place, ZouQi sends the complete walking order only to Amap or Baidu Maps, starting at the map app’s current location. Apple Maps receives a single geocoded place, also as walking directions.

What if Amap or Baidu Maps is not installed?

A single place can fall back to that provider’s web map. A route with two or more places does not. ZouQi will not drop the intermediate stops to make a shorter web link. Places without coordinates are excluded before navigation starts.
